The Evolution of Boot Camp!

Since 2016 we’ve been committed to bringing fitness instruction to the masses. Our first foray, was to make a community outreach program in the way of regular outdoor classes, at an affordable price. The idea for boot camp classes by SF Squared, seemed like the perfect fit! A different way to engage as a class, than traditionally with an instructor at the front of a room. As well, we believed this would be a positive way to get people to feel good about fitness, increase their knowledge base, while simultaneously spread the fitness gospel in public parks. Over the years of producing these once a week classes, we started to garner a strong following of devoted boot campers, and they shared their enthusiasm with other friends and family to get them active too. We took a break from classes in 2019, with the company preparing to set up a possible training studio in Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco. However, with a world recognized pandemic making indoor training not possible, we had to shelve plans for our training studio, and take a more examined look at our history of boot camps.

Outdoor fitness has become more than a trend, and has exposed some of the issues that indoor training will have in the future. To meet this new demand, Boot Camp would have to evolve as a means of fitness not just for public participation, but also as a way for corporations and groups to book privately. We at SF Squared our proud to offer these two tiers of service for Boot Camp classes; The original Boot Camp class available to all on our Boot Camp calendar, as well as Boot Camp Corporate Booking now available! Both offer a level of service, higher than most outdoor fitness instruction classes, at price points that everyone can afford! Over the past few months, we have been amazed by the response to our classes, and we hope to create more down the road. Training with friends, co-workers, and neighborhoods is the socialization that we’ve been missing lately, and we’re glad that we can provide this connection to people, in a safe and socially distant way. Tickets are available for our upcoming Outreach classes on March 27th and May 29th, 2021, on our Boot Camp page. To register a private class, just go to Corporate Boot Camp Events, and fill out an application. We’d be happy to get your group moving, shaking, and a little more motivated to take on the world.
